He operates an internationally known website for steel guitar players, The Steel Guitar Forum. This is a clearing house for information on all things related to pedal steel, slide guitar. He is also inducted into the European Steel Guitar Hall of Fame. In addition to holding down the pedal steel chair in The Rhythm Rangers, Bobby plays with the Cloverdale-based group, The Coolers and in the duo Wine Country Swing along with stellar guitarist Hugh Harris.
